GB delegation visits Peshawar
The delegation participated in meeting held in connection with reviewing arrangements for Shandur Festival.
A delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan including Minister for Tourism Inayatullah Shumali, Minister for Planning Murad Ali, Minister for Food Nimatullah and Minister for Law Mushtaq Ahmed Advocate visited Peshawar on Monday.
The delegation participated in the meeting held in connection with reviewing the arrangements for Shandur Festival to make it a successful event.
Speaking on this occasion, Inayatullah Shumali stressed the need for joint efforts on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan governments to further promote tourism in the area.
He said development of tourism infrastructure will not only provide job opportunities to the local people, but also uplift their socio-economic condition.
Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism Amjad Afridi said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will utilize its full energies to make Shandur Festival a successful event.
On this occasion, the delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan ministers also attended a seminar and cultural show.
