Free trade zone to be set up at Gwadar: Michael
Minister for Ports and Shipping says 2,281 acres of land has been acquired for this purpose
Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael says a free trade zone will be set up at Gwadar Port for tax free manufacturing.
In a statement in Islamabad, he said 2,281 acres of land has been acquired for this purpose.
Kamran Michael said Gwadar port is the deepest along the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal.
He said the federal government will soon inaugurate a project of international airport at Gwadar at a cost of 26 billion rupees.
