Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood says the government is taking effective measures to bring innovation in education sector through utilizing Information Technology.

He was addressing the closing ceremony of 16th international conference on ‘Frontiers of Information Technology’ in Islamabad.

The Minister said strong interventions are needed for utilizing information technology to revitalize and reform education sector and our capacity building as a nation.

He stressed the need to put more and more efforts to enhance capabilities of youth, enabling them to excel in the field of IT so they can become an asset for the country.

Shafqat Mahmood said our software products now at this stage are more reflective of the potential and talent we have and it can bring billions of dollars to the country.
