In Nigeria, over 50 gunmen have killed during a joint operation by Nigerian troops in the country's northwestern state of Kaduna.

In a statement, commissioner for internal security and home affairs in Kaduna state, Samuel Aruwan, said  they had involved in a series of attacks in Nigeria in recent months.
