Director General of Trade Development Authority Pakistan Mian Riaz Ahmad has said that participation of foreign buyers in the International Carpet Expo held in Pakistan is a very encouraging sign.

Addressing an Award Distribution Ceremony in Lahore, he said that all possible measures and resources are being utilized for an effective marketing and search for new markets for Pakistani products.

He said that exchange of business delegation should be done at personal level as well rather than at government level only.

He stressed upon the carpet manufacturers to bring innovation and maintain standard of their products.
