Eight point seven million Cattle farmers’ data in Punjab province has been computerized so far.

Punjab Minister for Food, Samiullah Chaudhry told our Radio Pakistan Bahawalpur Correspondent Sajjad Parvez that Livestock centres comprise fifty eighty point three per cent of the agricultural centres across the province.

He said that the government intends to introduce reforms in the food sector aiming at eliminating corruption from the department.

He said the reforms will pertain to the subsidy given to wheat growers first at the time of the procurement of their produce and later on releasing the commodity from government’s godowns.
