In Afghanistan, multiple explosions rocked polling centres across Kabul today causing dozens of casualties.

According to a Trauma Hospital run by the Italian NGO Emergency, at least thirty people have been brought to the hospital with injuries including one child as dead.

The United Nations, which has been supporting the process, has urged Afghans to use this opportunity to exercise their constitutional right to vote and called for the election to take place in a safe and secure environment.
