Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has directed Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority and Deputy Commissioners to keep watch on flood situation in Indus River.

He asked concerned departments to adopt precautionary measures in Baltistan and Diamer Division to avoid loss of life and properties in wake of high flood in River Indus.

In a statement, he condemned Indian Government for discharging water from his Dam towards Pakistan and termed it Indian aggression.
