In India, third largest political party in 2019 election, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has announced to hold a protest against Modi government’s decision of scraping of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi on Thursday.

In a statement, president of DMK MK Stalin strongly condemned the abrogation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir.  

He said the detention of family members of political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir is unacceptable and unconscionable.
