UN Security Council has adopted a resolution on coordinating efforts to respond to linkages between international terrorism and transnational organized crime.

The resolution 2482, which won unanimous support of fifteen member council, stressed the importance of good governance and need to fight corruption, money-laundering and terrorist financing.

The resolution strongly condemned continued flow of weapons including military equipment and unmanned aircraft systems to and between terrorist organizations.

It called on member states to consider establishing appropriate laws and mechanisms that allow for the broadest possible international cooperation.
