Special priority given to education sector in next year budget: Tahir

Balochistan Minister for Education Tahir Mehmood has said that special priority has been given to education sector in the next year budget.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan, he said under Balochistan Education Sector Plan, 100 new primary schools will be established and 100 others upgraded to middle level during next five years.

He said 83.3 million rupees have been earmarked for the provision of new furniture, stationery, lab instruments and sports goods for all schools in the province in the budget.

The Minister said that 40 million rupees have also been allocated for the establishment of College directorate in Quetta.
