China Cultural Center in Pakistan has organized a “special performance to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of establishment of China Cultural Center in Pakistan”.

The State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing and senior officials of Federal Ministry of Information and Broadcasting attended the event.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with third anniversary of establishment of China Cultural Center at Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad this evening, Marriyum Aurangzeb says CPEC will prove a game changer for the coming generations and it will strengthen economy of the entire region.

The Minister of State said CPEC has taken Pakistan-China friendship to new heights. 

She said culture has special importance in One Belt One Road initiative (BRI).

The Minister of State said Pakistan and China are looking forward to cultural diplomacy.

She said students are learning Chinese language at the Cultural Center. The Minister of State thanked the Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan for efforts in connection with the Cultural Center. 

Marriyum Aurangzeb said Pakistan's first film policy has been included in the next budget.

Traditional Chinese instrumental music performances were presented, along with the celebration event opening of the Pakistani and Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in the China Cultural Center gallery.

China Cultural Center in Pakistan was formally inaugurated in 2015 by President of China Xi Jinping and Ex-Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
