European Union has agreed to formally launch its new Military Headquarter in Brussels within coming days.

Talking to media after a meeting of European Union defense ministers in Brussels, foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said all twenty eight member states have removed the remaining differences and agreed to set up the Military Planning and Conduct Capability facility.

She said the military headquarters will assume responsibilities at the strategic level for the operational planning and conduct of the EU's non-executive military missions.
