Work on the construction of Dasu Dam in district Kohistan will be started in next two months.

Official sources told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent that the contract has been awarded to a Chinese firm.

World Bank is agreed to finance the project.

The project will be completed at a cost of more than four billion dollars by the end of 2021.

On completion, it will generate two thousand one hundred and sixty megawatt electricity.
