The Arab League held a meeting in Cairo for holding discussions on the conflict in Libya.

The meeting was attended by Secretary-General of the pan-Arab body, envoys from African Union, UN and EU foreign policy chief.

According to Anadolu Agency report, the meeting began with a closed session, which would tackle developments in Libya, and efforts are being made to settle the crisis and bridge the gap between rivals in the country.
