Kuwait's ruler has called for Gulf Arab states to preserve regional unity and overcome a diplomatic dispute with Qatar.
In a speech marking Ramazan, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is leading mediation efforts between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, hoped the crisis can be solved through dialogue.
He said the remaining days of holy month will create "the atmosphere for resolving differences and ending the rift through dialogue and communication" in the Gulf.
