PM met child Nida Khan after her successful surgery
The child was a born deaf, unable to speak before surgery.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met a child Nida Khan a born deaf in Islamabad after her successful surgery.
The child was earlier unable to speak as well.
The PM was briefed that Nida Khan will be fully rehabilitated with the assistance of speech therapist within a period of 1 to 2 years.
During the handing over ceremony of School Buses to Islamabad schools on 11th January, 2017, the PM met special child Nida Khan who used sign language to thank the Prime Minister for providing school buses to students of Islamabad schools.
After the event, the Prime Minister directed for setting up a public sector’s Cochlear Implant Centre for treatment of hearing impaired children.
The parents of Nida Khan who basically belong to District Mardan, KPK were profoundly grateful to the PM for the treatment of their child who were present during the visit.
