In occupied Kashmir, the entire territory was rocked by pro-freedom and anti-India protests by student community on the fifth consecutive day today.

Clashes broke out at various places in northern and central Kashmir between Indian troops and students, who are demonstrating against use of force in different colleges across the Valley.

Chairman All Parties Hurriyet Conference Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said educational institutions have been turned into battlefields and youth are subjected to worst form of state terrorism. 

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik visited hospitals in Srinagar and enquired about the well-being of injured students.

Meanwhile, a youth, who was injured in firing of Indian troops a few days ago, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar, today.
