The Minister directed Pakistan Railways high ups to extend full cooperation to make this project commercially viable.

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has assured full cooperation to Sindh government in execution of Karachi Circular Railway project.

The assurance was given at a meeting with a delegation of the provincial government, led by the Director General of Sindh Mass Transit Authority Muhammad Athar, in Lahore.

The Railways Minister however, made it clear that no damage will be made to the nation's resources by doing anything in haste.

He said the up gradation of Main Line One from Karachi to Peshawar under CPEC should have been a part of the feasibility report of Karachi Circular Railways project.
