Lebanese PM sets 72-hour deadline for economic reforms amid protests

In Lebanon, Prime Minister Saad Hariri has set a 72 hour deadline for his coalition partners to come up with solutions for the country's economic crisis as protests against austerity measures escalated.   

The protests which erupted over government's plans for new taxes have become a serious challenge to Hariri's government which came to power less than a year ago.
