The United Nations has asked for the quick implementation of a Russia-Turkey agreement to set up a demilitarized buffer zone in Syria's Idlib province. 

Addressing to Security Council during briefing, UN Special Envoy on Syria, Staffan de Mistura said that following the implementation of agreement peace will be restored in Idlib.

He said that there is no military solution in Idlib or anywhere else and the UN needs an inclusive political process to restore peace and stability in the region.
