Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has termed the Finance Supplementary (Amendment) Bill 2018 a historic step to put country's economy on track.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said Pakistan is facing financial crisis due to the mismanagement and wrongdoings of the previous governments.

He dispelled the impression that low income class people would face inflation and said only the financially strong people have to pay more taxes.

About setting up of Parliamentary Commission to probe alleged election rigging , he said it seemed that opposition was not clear about its objectives. He said those who had lost the election would never accept the results.
