The United States says its Navy ship destroyed an Iranian drone in the Strait of Hormuz after the aircraft threatened the vessel.

Speaking at the White House, US President Donald Trump said that USS Boxer, an amphibious assault ship of the US Navy, destroyed the drone that threatened the US warship by flying within 1,000 yards of it.

Meanwhile, talking to the reporters at the United Nations, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said we have no information about losing a drone.
