Mainly hot, dry weather likely to prevail in most parts of country

Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in southeast Sindh, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad twenty degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-five, Gilgit thirteen, Quetta twenty-one and Murree fifteen degree centigrade.       

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar thirteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-six, Leh eight, Pulwama and Baramulla fourteen, Anantnag and Shopian fifteen degree centigrade.
