The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has proposed to allocate 24.56 billion rupees in the next budget for annual development programme showing 11 percent increase in comparison to the current fiscal year.
Addressing post-budget conference in Muzaffarabad today, AJK Finance and Planning Minister Dr. Najeeb Naqi said the next budget reflects government’s priorities and lays a sound foundation for development of the region and socio-economic uplift of people.
Under a well thought strategy, financial discipline would be maintained, unnecessary expenses curtailed, revenue enhanced and development plan implemented in true spirit.
