Indian spy Kulbhushan confessed RAW's involvement in terrorism in Balochistan: Pakistan informs ICJ
February 19, 2019

At the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Pakistan's counsel Khawar Qureshi has given forceful arguments in the case against Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

He said the Indian version that Kulbhushan wad kidnapped from Iran is baseless.Fact of the matter is that the Indian spy was apprehended from Balochistan.

Pakistan's counsel said Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in an interview had admitted that Kulbhushan played a pivotal role in terrorist incidents in Balochistan.

Khawar Qureshi questioned that how can a country issue passport to its citizen on fake identity. He said Kulbhushan Jadhav was issued a passport by Indian government in 2003 in the name Hussain Mubarak Patel. The Pakistani counsel said India has failed to state that how Kalbhushan travelled on that passport.

He said India is sitting on a wall of lies. Indian stance is that Kulbhushan was a retired Naval officer. It is incomprehensible that a naval officer retired at the age of 47.

Khawar Qureshi said India in a written reply has refused to respond to questions put forth by Pakistan.

Earlier,Attorney General, Anwar Mansoor Khan told the court that Kulbhushan Jadhav has confessed that RAW had entered Pakistan with a pre-determined aim to cause terrorism in Balochistan.

He said Jadhav's activities are actual manifestation of Indian policy.

The four-day hearing of the case will continue till Thursday and the Court is expected to announce its judgement by summer this year.

Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel on Tuesday, International Law Expert,  has said that Pakistan has a strong case at the International Court of Justice on the conviction of Indian Spy, Kulbushan Jadhav.

He said Kulbushan Jadhav was sentenced as per the laws of Pakistan.

When asked about the arguments presented by the Indian Counsel before the International Court of Justice, Ahmer Bilal Sufi said these carried nothing new and substantial.

He said these arguments were very much expected and that is why Pakistan in its written reply had already covered those points relating to the counselor access.

He maintained that a spy is not provided with counselor access. Ahmer Bilal Sufi said Kulbushan Jadhav represents the Indian state and therefore all its actions of sabotage and terrorism are attributable to New Delhi.
