Nawaz Sharif praised the role of armed forces for combating and eradicating the menace of extremism and terrorism.

Lauding the role of the Pakistan Navy in the country's defence, the prime minister expressed the hope that the Naval College would continue to foster foreign military relations through training of officers from friendly countries besides inculcating maritime awareness amongst the academia of Pakistan.
