Analysts laud Govt’s initiatives for socio-economic development
Participants of Nuqta-e-Nazar program say efforts are underway to steer country out of crisis.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has resolved to implement PML-N government's agenda of socio-economic uplift, progress and prosperity of the people.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan’s program, senior journalist Nawaz Raza said: “The sit-ins of Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan have no clear agenda. They only want to derail the democracy.
The sit-ins are losing ground and public attention as well. Present government has started many energy projects to overcome the energy crises in the country but their completion is not possible in one year. Imran Khan should show political maturity and wait for next general elections.”
PML-N leader Sheikh Aftab Ahmad said: “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said the government will complete its five-year term. Our policies will strengthen the economy and important for the development of the country. Present government will overcome the energy crises because of its new electricity projects.”
Defence analyst General (R) Amjad Shoaib said: “Pakistan always stressed on the need of resolving issues through dialogue. Today Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif also stressed the need to resolve Kashmir issue and he said that without resolving Kashmir issue peace is not possible in the region.”
Defence analyst Brigadier(R) Farooq Hamid said: “Army Chief's statement is very important. Prime Minister’s clear stance in UN General Assembly regarding Kashmir issue is laudable.
Defence analyst Brigadier (R) Mahmood Shah said: “The Operation Zarb-e-Azb is continuing in North Waziristan successfully. Government should pay attention on the rehabilitation of the IDPs.
