Law Minister Zahid Hamid has said tendered votes can be counted in next general elections.

He said this while chairing the sub-committee of the parliament on electoral reforms in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Minister said that the committee has fixed number of voters on polling booths and polling stations.

He said maximum of 1,200 voters will be listed with a polling stations in Punjab, whereas 300 voters can cast their votes at a polling booth.

Zahid Hamid said that the presiding officer will be bound to handover signed election result to all the candidates.

He said the committee has also completed review of 27 electoral reforms, including the nomination papers. He said any change in the nomination papers will be applicable to the polling for all seats.
