The meeting focused on developing business linkages in the public-private sector of Pakistan and Hong Kong. The Prime Minister appraised the company heads about Pakistan’s investment-friendly policies that offered incentives for foreign businessmen. The entrepreneurs evinced keen interest in investment in Pakistan.
The corporate heads said they would work over exploring the potential of trade and business with Pakistan.

Infrastructural development will ensure the development of backward areas of the country: Ahsan Iqbal

Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal says government has taken bold measures to achieve macroeconomic stability, overcome energy crisis and ensure infrastructural development. Talking to media in Islamabad, he said the government will achieve the target of six percent GDP during next fiscal year.
Ahsan Iqbal said an amount of 2,113 billion rupees has been proposed for public sector development programme in the next budget. He said 325 billion rupees have been proposed for infrastructural development in the country. The Minister said infrastructural development will ensure the development of backward areas of the country.

AJK Govt Directs To Ensure Timely Completion of Development Projects

AJK government has directed all heads of state institutions to ensure timely completion of development projects maintaining required quality. Official source told our Muzaffarabad correspondent that promotion of concerned authorities has been linked with their performance in respective department. The Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan directed to cut down the budget of all those departments that would fail to present satisfactory progress on development program.
