Pakistan to vigorously fight Yadav case with no compromise on national security: Marriyum
Says sensationalizing this issue by media will not serve the national cause.
Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said any reporting on the interim order of International Court of Justice on Kulbhushan Jhadav case should be done responsibly.
She was speaking at the anniversary of a private TV channel in Islamabad on Thursday evening.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said sensationalizing this issue by media will not serve the national cause. She said Pakistan will vigorously fight this case without compromising on its national security.
The Minister of State said Pakistan hired the best legal counsels in this case and any speculations in this regard are baseless.
Later in an interview, Marriyum Aurangzeb said political parties and analysts are free to criticise the government, but they should refrain from doing politics on ICJ's interim order in Kulbhushan Jhadav's case as it is a matter of national security.
She said Pakistan has presented dossiers to the United Nations regarding Kulbhushan Jhadav's involvement in terrorist and subversive activities in Pakistan.
To a question, the minister of state said that the Indian spy will be provided every opportunity and remedy available under the law and the Constitution of Pakistan.
