ICJ stays execution of Kulbhushan Yadav by court martial in Pakistan
The President ICJ says its order on provisional measure has binding effect.
International Court of Justice has stayed execution of RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav, sentenced to death by a court martial in Pakistan on charges of espionage, terrorism and subversion.
Delivering its judgement at The Hague, the President of the Court Ronny Abraham said Pakistan shall take all measures at its disposal to ensure that Yadav is not executed pending final decision in the proceedings.
The court also said that its order on the provisional measure has binding effect.
The court also ruled that it has the jurisdiction to hear the case.
