CM expresses resolve for polio-free Sindh
Syed Murad Ali Shah directs to take steps in this regard on war footing
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed the resolve to make Sindh polio free province.
This he said while chairing a high level meeting on polio in Karachi on Thursday.
Chief Minister has directed the officials concerned to take steps in this regard on war footing basis.
He directed to immediately make functional the Janat Gul Hospital in Gadap area of Karachi.
Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the health minister to appoint senior officers as district health officer in twelve districts of the province.
The meeting was informed that no new polio case has been reported in the province this year.
Meeting has also informed that presence of polio virus in Machar Colony, Chokra and Sohrab Goth areas of the Karachi has been noticed.
