Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistan today has won confidence of foreign investors and international economic institutions for its pragmatic policies.
Addressing the foundation-laying ceremony of the University of Health Sciences Kala Shah Kaku campus near Lahore, he said Pakistan has been declared a fast developing economy.
The Minister said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has provided Pakistan a great opportunity to become a growing economy.
He said GDP stands at five percent mark today and it can touch seven to eight percent in the next few years through democratic stability.
Ahsan Iqbal said the government has overcome load-shedding to a great extent as the country faced eighteen to twenty hours load-shedding in 2013.
