Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak says eight hundred million rupees have been spent on police reforms for improvement of law and order situation in the province.

He was talking to a delegation of UN Mission led by Assistant Secretary General of United Nations in Peshawar today.

The Chief Minister said model police stations are being established at tehsil level to provide foolproof security to investors.

He said peace has been restored in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which has encouraged foreign investors to shift their industries to the province.

Earlier, speaking at a public gathering in Swabi, the Chief Minister said the provincial government has banned interest and dowry in the province through legislation.

Pervez Khattak said four thousand mosques will be converted on solar energy at a cost of two billion rupees during next year.
