The federal government has released thirty point two billion rupees as net hydel profit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This was stated by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak while talking to newsmen in Nowshera. 

He said the net hydel profit volume has been increased to eighteen billion rupees annually. 

To a quesion, the Chief Minister said embankments are being constructed along the Kabul River at a cost of fifteen billion rupees to protect Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera from floods.
