OIC Foreign Ministers conference kicks-off in Jeddah today

Two-day OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) Foreign Ministers conference begins in Jeddah today (Wednesday).
Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will represent Pakistan in the conference.
The new OIC Secretary General, Iyad Madani will preside the event.
The conference is likely to discuss host of issues facing the Muslim world with particular focus on the security crisis in Iraq, Syrian situation, political developments in Palestine and Kashmir issue.
Meanwhile, the Indian authorities have refused to issue travel documents to Hurriyet leaders to visit Saudi Arabia to attend the conference on the invitation of OIC Secretary General.
Those invited to attend the event included veteran Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani and the APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
