KP Assembly continues debate on budget
Sikandar Sherpao appreciates federal government gesture for releasing five billion rupees to help the IDPs of North Waziristan.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly continued general debate on the budget for the fiscal year 2014-15 in Peshawar on Wednesday.
Taking part in the debate, Qaumi Watan Party’s parliamentary leader Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao termed the budget as deficit budget.
He said that Southern districts, Malakand and Hazara Divisions have been totally ignored in the budget which will create a sense of deprivation among the people.
Sikandar Sherpao appreciated the federal government gesture for releasing five billion rupees to help the IDPs of North Waziristan.
Awami National Party Parliamentary Leader Sardar Hussain Babak said law and order is the biggest problem of the province.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak dispelled the impression that only three districts were given priority in allocation of development funds.
