WHO hopes to eradicate polio in 2016

World Health Organization (WHO) hoped that polio will be eradicated this year forever.
Regional head polio eradication program Christopher Maher said this at the inauguration of a WHO center for health emergencies and polio eradication in Amman.
He said although the caseload is dropping but the disease still occurs in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He said outbreaks in conflict-ridden Syria, Iraq and Somalia have been contained by immunizing millions of children over two years.
