PML-N govt restored country’s image: Rashid
Info Minister says Pakistan has attracted huge investment from China and is facilitating Afghan peace talks.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says the present government has restored the image of Pakistan as a key player in the region.
Addressing a PML-N workers convention in Kotli Azad Kashmir on Monday, he said Pakistan has attracted huge investment from China and is facilitating Afghan peace talks.
He said Pakistan is also playing an important role to remove difference between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has embarked on a visit to both the countries for the purpose.
Speaking about the politics of Azad Kashmir, the Minister said PML (N) remained at distance from no-confidence motion against incumbent Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Ch. Abdul Majeed to allow him to complete the five year term.
He, however, regretted that instead of focusing on service to the people of Azad Kashmir, the AJK Prime Minister spent most of his time in Islamabad.
Pervaiz Rashid said people of Azad Kashmir have expressed no confidence in the PPP Government and PML (N) will hopefully emerge victorious in the coming elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister's Adviser Asif Kirmani says the issue of Kashmir will be resolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He urged the people of Kotli to vote for PML-N to enable it work for them.
