Analysts laud Pakistan's efforts for peace
Analysts say Prime Minister's visit will help in resolving differences between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged Saudi Arabia and Iran to solve differences peacefully in the best interest of the Muslim Ummah.
He was talking to Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz in Riyadh .The Prime Minister said Pakistan is following a policy of promoting brotherhood among the member countries of OIC. He expressed concerns over the recent tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan's Current Affairs programme, Former Ambassador B.A. Malik said it is the right time that OIC should play a prominent role to resolve the current Iran-Saudi issues.
Former Ambassador Fauzia Nasreen said it will be big achievement if both Iran and Saudi Arabia agree to resolve their conflicts through dialogue rather than war.
