Life remains paralyzed in Pulwama, Kulgam and Kupwara
In Occupied Kashmir, life remained paralyzed in Pulwama, Kulgam, Kupwara and other areas, on Tuesday, due to shutdown against the Indian forces’ brutal actions on protesting students in the territory.
All shops and business establishments remained closed while roads wore a deserted look in all the three districts.
In order to prevent widespread protests by students, the puppet regime ordered the closure of all universities, colleges and higher secondary schools in the Kashmir Valley.
All segments of the society including resistance leaders and organizations in their statements strongly condemned the use of brute force on students.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that India had waged a war against the Kashmiri people. In his keynote address delivered through a video link at the Harvard University, Boston, he said that the kind of repression unleashed by Indian forces on civilians in Kashmir was unprecedented.
