Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved a summary to induct eight thousand workers in Pakistan Railways.   

An official of the Railways Ministry told APP today (Sunday) that recruitment process of these workers would be initiated shortly. 

They will be hired in different cadres to improve the efficiency of Pakistan Railways.  

He said around eleven thousand skilled workers are needed on emergency basis to improve performance of Pakistan Railways. He said the ministry has already hired around two thousand workers.
