Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said as a custodian of the House, it is his responsibility to run the house in a balanced way and give equal time to both treasury and opposition.

Talking to a private news channel, he said if anybody violates rules of the house and parliamentary traditions, action would be taken against him.

Responding to a question regarding expenses of the National Assembly, he said the government is taking austerity measures to reduce the budget and twenty per cent of the budget has already been reduced.
