Minister for Defense Khurram Dastgir Khan has said armed forces have played an important role in the war against terror and rendered unprecedented sacrifices during eradication of this menace. 

In an interview with a private news channel, he said Pakistan played a role of front line state against war on terror and international community should recognize it.

Replying to a question, he said the PML-N had always respected the national institutions including judiciary and implemented all of its decisions.       

The minister said the PML-N will win general elections due to its five years performance.
