A three-day International Buffalo Congress, 2019 begins in Lahore on Monday under the joint auspices of the Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore.

The theme of the event is ‘subsistence of commercialization’.

The objective of the congress is to promote livestock and dairy sector and modernize the nutrition, reproduction, genetics, management, health, and socio-economics.  

Leading experts of cattle and livestock and dairy farming, entrepreneurs and buffalo enthusiasts will take part in the buffalo congress and read their oral presentation.
