Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says a separate sub-secretariat is being created for Southern Punjab to remove backwardness of the area. 

Talking to notables of Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Tounsa Sharif in Multan, he said Additional Chief Secretary, Additional IG Police and secretaries of various departments will be posted in the sub-secretariat.

The Chief Minister said separate Public Service Commission is also being established for Southern Punjab and a notification to this effect has already been issued.
