Analysts on Telephone:

Isfanyar Bhindara (Leader, PML-N):

We are expecting a victory in NA-120 elections. Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his family have been targeted personally during this campaign, which is not a good sign. The voters should not decide their votes on hollow slogans. If the votes have been cast on performance basis, PML-N will win the election. Our government has launched developmental projects in Punjab, Sindh and other parts of the country. PML-N should be credited to initiate CPEC in the country.

Syed Saqlain Bukhari (Leader, PML-N):

A tough competition is expected in NA-120 elections. Hopefully, Kalsum Nawaz will win the elections. The defeated elements that used to falsely argue about rigging are left with no excuses. The security agencies have successfully managed law and order situation in the constituency. PTI has failed to bring its young voters to polling booths. Our party has been attacked on many fronts, but Maryam Nawaz has courageously led the election campaign. Our workers are standing the leadership of PML-N.

Pir Sabir Shah (Leader, PML-N):

Our party has contested the election in tough situation. PML-N underwent a media trial, but workers of our party have performed really well. Maryam Nawaz has led the campaign quite effectively. She was pressurized through an organized campaign, but she succeeded. All the voters have participated in the election enthusiastically. People from different factions have supported our party. PML-N will win this election.

Sharifullah Khan (Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab):

We made different teams to monitor the polling stations throughout the day. They continuously visited the polling stations to look into the situation. Also, our teams of IT wing were with us to monitor working of biometric machines. We have not seen any complaints during election voting. Biometric machines have produced good results.
