Chairman APHC urges UN to appoint War Crimes Tribunal for Jammu & Kashmir to identify culprits of human rights abuses in occupied territory
In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has sought the intervention of the United Nations for a peaceful settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
In a letter to UN Secretary General, he said Jammu and Kashmir is waiting for the final dispensation in accordance with the agreed UN resolutions.
He demanded the world body to appoint a War Crime Tribunal for Jammu and Kashmir to identify the culprits of human rights abuses in the occupied territory.
He urged the UN Chief to exert pressure on Indian government to give free access to global human rights watchdogs for taking on spot stock of the situation with regard to human rights abuses in the occupied Valley.
