SC adjourns hearing of Panama Papers implementation case till Tuesday
Supreme Court has adjourned its hearing of the Panama Papers implementation case till Tuesday.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal, is hearing the case.
Presenting his arguments Khawaja Haris, the counsel for Sharif family, submitted that the JIT report has no substantive evidence against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family; hence it should be rejected.
Earlier, PTI lawyer Naeem Bukhari and Jamaat-e-Islami lawyer Tausif Asif presented their arguments on the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the JIT report.
Awami Mulsim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed himself presented his point of view before the apex court.
